longitude
"longitude" is a group exhibition curated by Nóra Barabás,
bringing together work by 20 artists, arranged as diptychs and
triptychs. Nóra is a young analogue photographer from Szeged in Hungary
and "longitude" is her first solo curatorial project.The exhibition has been created around the themes of longing and distance and, in Nóra's words, "waiting, hoping, dreaming and believing in reaching the often seemingly unreachable".
"longitude" is the 9th in a series of 9 organised
in 76m2 by the*kickplate*project, with the support from the Arts
Council of Wales, Torfaen Council's Arts Development and Pontypool
Community Council.
